As the cold still clings in misted breath upon our window panes, and the chill still permeates the air, this is the perfect time for some ‘body and soul’ nourishing warmth. And I’ve found the best way to come home to the heart, to warm the cells and to cleanse the mind is through a gorgeously connective cacao ceremony.
And with Valentines Day being all about love, can we choose to give some of this beautiful unconditional love to ourselves?
To help I have recorded a step by step cacao ceremony for you to follow along and to recreate at home, and not just for Valentines Day, but every time you need a boost of self-love, and a heart-opening ceremony for yourself.

In preparation I would recommend purchasing some ceremonial cacao (organic, sustainable) but if you are pushed for time/money you can choose any unsweetened chocolate or simply use some good quality cocoa powder.
Each month you can add different spices for warmth or subtle connections to blend the plants that you are connecting with during your ceremony/meditation.
